After yesterday's rest day, it was time for some training again. I headed out for a slow run around 10am but felt really worn out and my shin was still sore. Even though I only jogged really slowly, my average heart rate was 160. I jogged along the river for 20min before I turned around and went home again. On my way home I did five strides to pick up some speed and it felt good to go faster :). After I got home I had a shower and did some stretching.
I remember feeling tired and worn out during my last run before the 10km race but the race went really well, so I hope it will be the same this time.
I won't train again today though, I'm gonna have lunch soon cos I'm starving and then we'll go walk around the shopping mall, see if I can find something to buy :). Later today I'm gonna pack my stuff for tomorrow so that I don't have to wake up even earlier and that I won't be too stressed. And of course I'll have pasta for dinner like always before a race :) – hope it will help.
